Daddy Comes Home Today!

YAY!!!!!!! Daddy comes home today. We spent the whole afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa's house visiting with them and Auntie Pris who happened to be in town. Let's just say they had a pretty good taste of what it's like to have my two balls of energy around.

Trying to take some good frame-worthy photographs of my 2 munchkins together and it feels almost as if the stars have to be aligned in order for even 1 good shot. I love taking spontaneous pictures of them and today was one of those rare days that allowed me to capture some nice moments of my sweethearts.

After doing a mad rush in the kitchen this morning, we headed to Lau Ma's house for lunch. The boys like going there because there's lots and lots of space to go exploring.

Nothing Like Pile of Pillows

Spent the morning in our jammies jumping into piles of pillows. That's the life!

Liquid Chalk = Liquid Gold

Who knew a 75-cent bag of cornflour, some water and some squeeze bottles could be so much fun? Just add some food colouring to make different colours and vary how much water you put to adjust the consistency. We even put in different essences to make each colour/bottle have its own scent. It's all-edible so we didn't have to worry about Eli eating some of the stuff by accident.

Baby's Got A New Set of Wheels

Thanks to Mama and Opa, Eli got a brand new scooter! It even plays the jarringly tinny music that seems to be the soundtrack of choice for all these modes of transportation. In short, he loves it.

Crazy Hat Day

It's Crazy Hat Day at SJCK so everyone's encouraged to come to school wearing a crazy hat preferably of our own creation. After consulting with my "client", we decided on a MONSTER FISH hat since he's been watching an awesome show about monster fish on the Discovery Channel. Zac picked the colours and I did the sewing and finishing touches. I think it came out rather nice.
